County of Northern Lights Council awarded funds to 3 community organizations through the Council Grants and Donations grant. The recipients were:
- Peace Regional Women's Shelter: $20,000 to aid in the replacement of the furnace.
- Manning and Area Food Bank Society: $10,000 to aid in their operational budget.
- Sagitawa Friendship Centre: $10,000 for the Out of the Cold shelter and mobile out reach operations.
