Candidate Campaign Disclosure and Financial Statements
According to the Local Authorities Election Act s. 147.7 A candidate who fails to file a Campaign Disclosure Statement (FORM 26) within the specified time period is required to pay a $500 late filing fee to the municipality.
The last day for candidates to file Form 26 'Campaign Disclosure Statement and Financial Statement' is March 1, 2026
On March 2, 2026, a late filing fee of $500 is imposed on candidates that have not filed Form 26.
