The Grimshaw Gravels Aquifer Management Advisory Association and the Mighty Peace Watershed Alliance continue to work on safeguarding our drinking water within the Grimshaw Gravels Aquifer.
They are seeking volunteers to allow us to deploy a well-level logger in their water well.
If you live above the aquifer (see map below) and are interested, please contact Adam Norris at coordinator@mpwa.ca or 780-552-4354.

This will help us understand how much water there is in the aquifer and ensure that we don’t overdraw it. Another thing that they are working on is addressing the danger posed by abandoned water wells.
