The County of Northern Lights would like to remind truckfill users to help avoid icy conditions during the winter months by:
- Ensuring you know the capacity of your tank and enter the correct amount of water needed to fill.
- Remain at the hose while filling.
- Note the location of the 'stop' button on the pin pad to quickly stop filling.
- Drain hoses back into the tank, not on the ground/pad.
Additionally, you can help reduce icy conditions at truckfill stations by spreading sand when needed. Buckets of sand are located at each station.
