The Peace Regional Energy Committee (PREC) requested clarification from the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) on topics related to the integrated assessment of the proposed Peace River Nuclear Power Project.
Clarification on the following topics was requested;
- Municipal Role in the Approval and Licensing Process
- Consideration of a Non-Binding Plebiscite
- Definition and Interpretation of "Willing Host Community"
IAAC responded on Thursday, August 7. The response can be found on the IAAC website.
