Development Information Guide
The County's Development Permit Information package will guide you through the development permitting process, including the application process for safety code permits, the appeal process, and more.
Applicants are encouraged to contact the County's Planning and Development department if they have any questions about the process, and before filling out and submitting applications.
Development Permit Application
After you have reviewed the information package and chatted with the Planning and Development Department, you can submit your official development permit application.
Development Permit Fees
Payment must also be included with your development permit application. The development permit fees are outlined in the Schedule of Fees bylaw. Currently, the fees are as follows:
- Construction costs up to $249,999: $50
- Construction costs over $250,000: $100
Payment can be made via:
- In-person at the County office with cash, cheque, debit/credit
- Over the phone with credit card
