The County of Northern Lights is currently accepting applications for Agricultural department seasonal employment. We have several openings available for up to 6-month employment terms from approximately May to October.
Mowing crew reports to the Agricultural Fieldman and are responsible for mowing of County parks and facilities, herbicide application on municipal roadsides, performing weed and agricultural pest inspections, and supporting public works operations and other general tasks.
These positions require a positive work ethic, high standards, and positive time management skills. The ability to work independently, often outdoors, as well as in a team environment is required.
Some positions may require a Class I license and experience in operating equipment.
You may be required to provide a Criminal Record Check prior to the first day of work.
