The County of Northern Lights is now welcoming applications for a seasonal job opportunity at our North shop (Manning) location. The positions are available for a maximum of 6 months, typically from May to October.
We are looking for the following:
- Equipment Operators
- Labourers
These positions fall under the supervision of Transportation Supervisors, individuals in these roles may operate a range of County equipment. They will also be responsible for providing equipment maintenance services and performing general labor as needed. Duties may include; sign installations, participating in the re-gravel program, installation of culverts, participating in the dust control program, and other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Successful candidates for these positions must demonstrate a positive work ethic, uphold high standards, possess effective time management skills, the ability to work independently and working collaboratively within a team setting.
A Class I license is considered an asset, and experience in operating equipment is required for the equipment operator position. Please specify which position and area you are applying for. You may be required to provide a Criminal Record Check prior to the first day of work.
