Make a Payment

The County of Northern Lights can now accept payments online for Taxes, Utilities, and Accounts Receivable invoices through PaySimply. Please allow 3 business days for processing. Note that a convenience fee is charged by PaySimply to cover payment handling and processing charges. Payments via online banking through your financial institution are still available and remain unchanged. 

Taxes

• Pay taxes online by Credit Card, PayPal or Interac eTransfer
  Visit the PaySimply Tax Payment portal, our secure third party payment provider, to pay online with any major credit card (Visa, MC, Amex), PayPal or Interac Transfer. 
• Pay taxes in-person by Debit Card or Cash at Canada Post
  Visit the PaySimply Tax Payment portal, our secure third party payment provider, to generate a QR code to take with you to Canada Post with your payment.
• Note: Your account number is your roll number for a single property or owner number for multiple properties under the same owner number.
     

Utilities

• Pay utility invoices online by Credit Card, PayPal or Interac eTransfer
  Visit the PaySimply Utility Payment portal, our secure third party payment provider, to pay online with any major credit card (Visa, MC, Amex), PayPal or Interac Transfer. 
• Pay taxes in-person by Debit Card or Cash at Canada Post
  Visit the PaySimply Utility Payment portal, our secure third party payment provider, to generate a QR code to take with you to Canada Post with your payment. 
• Note: Your account number is an 8 digit number starting with 7 or 9.

Accounts Receivable

• Pay invoices online by Credit Card, PayPal or Interac eTransfer
  Visit the PaySimply Accounts Receivable Payment portal, our secure third party payment provider, to pay online with any major credit card (Visa, MC, Amex), PayPal or Interac Transfer. 
• Pay taxes in-person by Debit Card or Cash at Canada Post
  Visit the PaySimply Accounts Receivable Payment Portal, our secure third party payment provider, to generate a QR code to take with you to Canada Post with your payment.
• Note: Your AR account number is a 2-4 digit number.

Additional Property Tax Payment Options

The County also accepts payment by any of the following means: cash, cheque, telebanking, online, credit card, or debit card. The County has set up telebanking at the following banks: TD Canada Trust, CIBC, Royal Bank, Bank of Montreal, Scotia Bank, ATB Financial, and the Vision Credit Union Ltd.- Manning Branch.

The County also offers a pre-authorized payment plan for property taxes. To sign up for the pre-authorized payment plan, complete the Property Tax Autopay Application and submit it to the Tax Department via fax or email.
