The County of Northern Lights has established an incentive program to encourage private sector participation in controlling beaver problems. Veterinary Services Incentive (VSI) Program

This program offers subsidized veterinary fees for producers of livestock for food. Producers must register with and apply to the County for a VSI card that would entitle them to these services. Currently, costs are shared 50/50 between VSI and the producers (as outlined in the Tariff of Fees included in the application). Note: this program does not cover horses, bison, elk, or wild pigs. View and Download the VSI Application
