There has been an increase in the theft and vandalism of traffic signs on County roads. Not only does this sign impose a significant safety risk to drivers, but if caught, theft/vandalism of signs can result in a criminal charge.
In addition to safety risks and potential criminal charges, replacing signs also impacts the County's operating budget.
We are asking residents and drivers to report missing or damaged signs by calling the County office at 780-836-334 with the location of the missing/damaged sign (Township and Range Road).
Residents can report suspicious activity to the RCMP by calling 1-833-547-RAVE.
