Grain and Seed Testing Assistance Program

This program provides financial assistance to local producers for seed testing. The County of Northern Lights believes in encouraging residents to test their seed for fusarium graminearum, vigor and germination in hopes of sowing the best possible crops. To participate in the program drop off samples at the Manning Co-op Seed Cleaning Plant or the Agricultural Fieldman Blake Gaugler at the County of Northern Lights office, located in Manning. The County will pay for a maximum of 10 samples per farming unit per the calendar year View Program Policy Details.
