FCSS

Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) services are available province-wide and their mission is to promote and enhance the well-being of Albertans, families and communities.

Each FCSS organization will provide programs and services that meet the unique to the needs of their community.  A few of these programs and services offered include

• Providing information and supporting access to available social supports in their local community

• Promoting, encouraging and supporting volunteer work in their community

• Developing the skills of individuals and families for greater resiliency

FCSS is an 80/20 funding partnership between the Government of Alberta and participating municipalities and Métis Settlements.

As a participating funding municipality, County residents are eligible to participate in local FCSS programs and services being offered in our neighbouring support communities of Towns of Manning, Peace River, and Grimshaw.
