Peace River Flood Hazard Study Update

The Peace River hazard study began in 2015 to identify and assess river related hazards along a 52 km reach of the Peace River and 1 km of the Hart River. The study extends from the end of Shaftesbury Trail, through Peace River to just past the Diashowa mill.

Though progress has been made since the study began in 2015, the orginal target completion date of this spring has been delayed to end of 2017. This is due to delays associated with survey work and hydrology assessment.
