Effective Wednesday, March 25th all County facilities are CLOSED to the public. County of Northern Lights Council made this decision with the health and safety of staff and residents in mind. The Keg River Landfill and Potable Water Truck-fill stations remain OPEN.
Staff will remain available to assist you via telephone or email. We are able to process credit card bill payments over the phone, and also accept online payment and cheques.

- Effective immediately, all public hearings and delegations scheduled to appear before Council have been postponed until further notice.
- The Council of the County of Northern Lights has agreed to defer penalties charged on unpaid Utility and Accounts Receivable Invoices between the period of April 1st and June 30th, 2020. Service disconnections will not occur during this period on utility accounts where the owners maintain a balance of less than $1,000.

The County of Northern Lights is asking those residents with the ability to pay to do so before the June 30th In recognition of the current economic impacts of these trying times, Council has moved to waive the July 1st penalty on current property tax levy’s. The County Tax Auto Pay Program will continue without change.
