Canada Digital Adoption Program

The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) provides support to Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SME's) to boost their e-commerce presence and digitize how they run their business. Businesses can apply for 2 types of funding; 

  • Stream 1 Grow Your Business Online: Microgrants to help you go digital and take advantage of e-commerce and access digital experts to introduce you to, and help use online tools.
  • Stream 2 Boost Your Business Technology: Grants to cover the cost of advisors who help plan how to take your business to the next level through digital solutions and access to digital advisors and government-funded youth placements to help with digital transformations.

Rural Economic Development: Public Engagement Survey

The Ministry of Jobs, Economy and Development of Rural Economic Development would like Albertans to share their thoughts on ways to promote economic development in rural Alberta. Feedback will be gathered via a survey.

Business Link Digital Economy Program

The Digital Economy Program is designed to help small businesses take their businesses online. This program, a partnership between Business Link and Digital Main Street, will help small businesses in Alberta undergo digital transformations and adopt eCommerce practices to help their business not only survive, but also thrive.

Participating businesses will learn to use and maintain digital tools to adopt eCommerce practices that are essential to succeed in today’s competitive environment.

The program is open to home-based or commercial small businesses registered in Alberta with less than 50 employees.

There is no cost to this program, however, there is a time commitment required from businesses who wish to participate in this program.

Restrictions Exemption Program (REP) Funding

The grant provides $2,000 for eligible small- and medium-sized organizations that choose to implement the Restrictions Exemption Program. Apply online and get more info here.


Mercer Peace River Receives Emission Alberta Grant

Mercer Peace River will undergo a capital investment project at its facilities to transform its fibre procurement process, improve environmental performance, and create a more sustainable business model. Mercer will receive $7,500,000 from the ERA Grant. The overall project value is $75,100,000. Read the full release on the Mercer website here.
