The Manning Municipal Airport, located 3 kilometers north of the Town of Manning is owned and operated by the County of Northern Lights.

The airport can accommodate general aviation of all aircraft up to Code 3 designation / category using both Instrument Flight Regulations (IFR) and Visual Flight Regulations (VFR) and is equipped with a modern air terminal to service passenger flights.

The runway is asphalt overlay – 30 meters (100 feet) wide and 1,701 meters (5,580 feet) long complete with radio controlled runway lighting (ARCAL). The 2006 redevelopment provided three new aircraft taxiways (two directly to the runway and one to the commercial apron) and a large tanker base apron (200' wide x 600' length) for the parking and loading of the large fire tankers which is complemented by a 100' x 600' asphalt section for the parking of smaller aircraft and to accommodate aircraft movement.
